How we process your personal data under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), your personal data is processed by Pressfix Sağlık Ürünleri İthalat İhracat ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. ("Pressfix") as the data controller, within the scope described below.

02Categories of personal data processed

  • Identity data: first and last name.
  • Contact data: email address, phone number.
  • Professional data: your institution/hospital and title (if you share them).
  • Request data: products, reference numbers and message content you send via the quote or contact form.
  • Transaction security data: IP address, browser and device information, access dates and times (hosting server logs).
  • Preference data: your cookie consent choices and theme preference.

We do not request special categories of personal data (including health data) through this website. Please do not share patient information or health data in the forms.

03Purposes of processing

  • receiving, assessing and responding to your quote, information and contact requests;
  • carrying out sales and after-sales processes for our products and services;
  • establishing and managing business relationships with hospitals, clinics and distributors;
  • running information security processes and keeping the site secure and available;
  • fulfilling legal obligations and responding to requests from competent authorities;
  • establishing, exercising and defending legal claims;
  • where you have given explicit consent, analysing and improving the use of the site.

04Collection method and legal grounds

Your personal data is collected electronically, partly by automated means, through the quote and contact forms on our website, information you send by email or phone, cookies and server logs.

  • KVKK Art. 5/2-c: processing is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (quotes and sales);
  • KVKK Art. 5/2-ç: processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation of the data controller;
  • KVKK Art. 5/2-e: processing is necessary to establish, exercise or protect a right;
  • KVKK Art. 5/2-f: processing is necessary for our legitimate interests, provided it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (responding to requests, information security);
  • KVKK Art. 5/1: your explicit consent (only for analytics cookies, and only if you opt in).

05Transfers of personal data

Limited to the purposes above and in line with Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK, your personal data may be transferred to the following recipient groups:

  • public authorities and judicial bodies legally entitled to request it;
  • hosting, email, form and IT service providers we work with;
  • our legal, financial and technical advisers;
  • our business partners and authorised distributors, for quotes and sales.

Where our service providers' servers are located abroad, transfers are made by putting in place one of the appropriate safeguards set out in Article 9 of KVKK (such as the standard contract published by the Board) and making the required notifications. Google Analytics cookies are used only with your explicit consent; without it, only cookieless measurement signals that do not identify you are sent to Google.

06Retention

Your personal data is kept for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it is processed and for the limitation periods set by law. Quote and contact records are kept for up to 10 years after the request is concluded; server access logs are kept for 2 years under Law No. 5651. At the end of these periods, data is erased, destroyed or anonymised in line with the Regulation on the Erasure, Destruction or Anonymisation of Personal Data.

07Your rights under KVKK

Under Article 11 of KVKK, as a data subject you have the right to:

  • learn whether your personal data is processed;
  • request information if it has been processed;
  • learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used in line with that purpose;
  • know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your data is transferred;
  • request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data and notification of this to third parties to whom it was transferred;
  • request erasure or destruction of your data under the conditions of Article 7 of KVKK and notification of this to third parties;
  • object to a result against you arising exclusively from automated analysis of your data;
  • claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing of your data.

08How to apply

You may submit requests regarding the rights above, together with information and documents proving your identity, by completing the Data Subject Application Form in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, using one of the following methods:

  • With a secure electronic or mobile signature, or from an email address you have previously notified to us and which is registered in our systems: info@pressfix.com.tr

Requests are concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within thirty (30) days at the latest, depending on their nature. Where the action requires an additional cost, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.
