Cookie Policy

The cookies and similar technologies we use, and how you can manage your preferences.

01What is a cookie?

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. Similar technologies such as local storage may be used for the same purposes. In this policy they are all referred to as "cookies".

02Why we use cookies

  • Strictly necessary: Required for the site to work and to store your choices; they cannot be switched off.
  • Functional: Remember choices such as your theme preference to personalise your experience.
  • Analytics: Help us improve the site by measuring how it is used, anonymously.

Cookies other than strictly necessary ones are used only if you consent. We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.

04Cookieless visit statistics

To measure the site's performance we use Web Analytics by our hosting provider, Vercel Inc. It stores no cookies or similar data on your device; it measures page views, referring site, country, browser and device type anonymously and in aggregate. Your IP address is not stored; visits are counted with a one-way key that changes every day and is never used to identify you.

Google Analytics runs in Google's Consent Mode: the tag loads on every page, but until you accept analytics cookies it sets no cookies, creates no device identifier and sends only cookieless signals that do not identify you (for example, that a page was viewed). Once you consent, the _ga cookies listed above are used; if you withdraw consent, they are deleted.

05Managing your preferences

Using the cookie notice shown on your first visit, you can accept all cookies, reject non-essential ones or choose by category. You can change your choices at any time via the "Cookie Preferences" link at the bottom of every page.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, some features of the site may not work as expected.
